Day 24: Give thanks with a grateful heart

Give thanks with a grateful heart.
Especially if it's for a bowl of XO minced pork noodles from Newton Circus. ;)

Kidding.
Give thanks with a very grateful heart because we have good news! (:
Nigel's wbc counts have risen more than double up to 1.71 and he now has an absolute neutrophil count of 1.10. Yay!
It was the junior doctor on duty today though and she was shocked to see such a sudden jump.
She told Nigel that the readings might be wrong for his rbc counts.
Hmm.
Just a while before Monday comes around.
Perhaps we can be better advised then.
Whatever the case is, we'd just like to say thank you for covering him in prayers.
Because By His Stripes, Nigel is coming closer to complete healing! (:

Please do continue to keep his blood counts in prayer. He's still classified as a fall risk patient because his platelet counts are very low. Platelets help our blood clot so when the counts are low, dangerous internal bleeding could occur.

Just for accountability's sake, I got a copy of his interim bill today. It's $107,328.35 and after government subsidy, it stands at $39,215.71.
Thank you all for your generous outpouring of blessings onto him.
We're greatly loved and richly blessed.

In His love and ours,
Brenda & Nigel
